About Speaker
Ai Austin is the avatar of Austin Tate, Emeritus Professor of Knowledge-Based Systems at the University of Edinburgh. He has been involved with virtual worlds and VR for over two decades and is the coordinator for the Virtual University of Edinburgh (Vue) and is frequently involved in early development and testing in Second Life and OpenSim both for viewer and server side capabilities.
