OpenSimulator Community Conference – Call for Proposals is open!
The 2026 OSCC Organizing Committee is looking forward to a great conference on December 5-6, 2026.
We invite you to present at #OSCC26!
We’re interested in your wonderful content, insights, and accomplishments. We hope that you can join us for our 14th year celebrating the current and future use of opensource virtual worlds through creativity, technology, artistry, and education.
OpenSimulator Community Conference – Call for Proposals for OSCC26 Important Dates
- September 30 — Announcement of the Call for Proposals!
- October 26 — Proposals are due by 11:59 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time).
- November 5 — Proposal acceptance emails and conference information.
- November 9 — Accepted speakers must register for the conference to be included in the conference schedule and program.
- November 14 — 9 AM – 11 AM PST – Speaker Orientation & Training sessions and Presenter Booth Setup to prepare speakers for the conference.
- November 14 — 12 PM – 1 PM PST – Volunteer Orientation Meeting.
- November 30 — Deadline for OSCC Speaker poster booths, stage props, and audio-visuals (other than textures) for the conference program to ensure a smooth session.
- December 4-5 — OSCC26 Kick-off with music & art.
- December 5-6 — OSCC26 Conference dates!
In your proposal, let us know if you have day or time zone restrictions. If you need to update your information or your co-presenter’s content after submission, that is fine. Please let us know, and we will post your session updates.
Please submit your proposal by October 26, 2026.

By November 5, we will set the OSCC speaker schedule and announce it in an acceptance letter, so don’t delay!
