    Julian Reyes is the Founder and Director of the Virtual Worlds Museum™, whose mission is to explore, preserve, and showcase the evolution of immersive worlds. In recognition of his contributions to the XR industry and digital preservation, Julian was awarded the AUREA Impact Award 2025, alongside Lisa Egger of Arrival Space. He has since been invited to serve as a juror for the AUREA Award 2026 and is a featured speaker at Immersive X.

    Julian has also held positions at Meta, Cisco Systems, and Exponent, bringing extensive experience in immersive media, storytelling, and technology. Additionally, he received specialized training from the Oculus Launch Pad and Oculus Start programs, as well as the EveryRealm Metaverse Academy. Through his work with the Virtual Worlds Museum™, Julian continues to champion education, interoperability, and digital heritage—bridging the past, present, and future of virtual worlds.
