Nurturing the Health of the Metaverse Ecosystem
In this conversation, representatives from OMI, the Open Metaverse Interoperability group, will share experiences from the last few years on how to manage and nurture an open metaverse ecosystem. We will discuss some talking points, including: how we navigate communication across viewpoints, disciplines, backgrounds, and ideologies, and our continued challenges and work to balance philosophy with action. We have thoughts on how we are working to actively shape the evolution of cyberculture to be more inclusive, ope,n and accessible. We are inspired by improv as a playful way to create space for social action.
We welcome questions and input from the audience; this is a conversation, not a panel – communication rather than broadcast.
Ways to join the conversation: The conversation has a dedicated forum post in the OMI Discord – OMI: Open Metaverse Interoperability Group…Open Metaverse panel in OpenSim…. We will monitor the OSCC chats during the panel to include inputs from the audience, and we are also welcoming people to join us in the speaker list.
