Amplifying Medical Laboratory Science; Public Health; CoWorking; and Special Interests Through Bi-directional Integration into 3D Immersive Virtual Worlds Communities within the Metaverse… Real To Virtual; Virtual To Real (R2V2R)

The presentation, ”Amplifying Medical Laboratory Science; Public Health; CoWorking; and Special Interests Through Bi-directional Integration into 3D Immersive Virtual Worlds Communities within the Metaverse… Real To Virtual; Virtual To Real (R2V2R)” features various “Real To Virtual” (physical world) projects, and “Virtual To Real” (virtual worlds) projects as well as several amplifying strategies; tools; and resources used to reach the target audience. Since 2008, the vision of a seamless, two-way integration of 3D immersive virtual worlds has fueled the presenter’s professional and personal mission to provide capacity building; public awareness; training; networking; and coworking opportunities to medical laboratory science professionals; public health service providers; nonprofits; and communities of special interest as well as consumers of community health education.

The presentation will show how bi-directional (two-way) integration of 3D immersive virtual worlds and of social media was used to promote, educate, and network between the physical world (RL) and virtual-based networks of laboratory professionals; nonprofits, businesses; and special interest communities to enhance access and delivery of services and resources. Although the projects discussed in the presentation pertain to medical laboratory science, public/community health, and other special interest topics, the presentation was designed to provide helpful information to any interested individuals (or organization) looking to use 3D immersive virtual worlds to share information, connect, network, collaborate, and/or promote specific causes regardless of organization size, location or physical accessibility. The conference participants will learn how 3D immersive virtual worlds (and relevant social media platforms) were used in the physical world (RL) to share information; provide training; foster networking; reach target audiences; and market physical (and virtual) projects. In addition, “Real to Virtual; Virtual to Real” presentation will offer “lessons learned” information; successful “Real to Virtual” stories; and project planning tips pertaining to social media and virtual world platforms.
